​Dr. Ambareen Salam is a well-respected, board-certified physician who has been in private practice and affiliated with Medical City Hospital since 1998.
Dr. Salam graduated from The University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio and completed both her internship and residency there before being appointed Chief Medical Resident of the Internal Medicine Residency Program. She enjoyed this faculty position which allowed her to teach medical students and residents. Dr. Salam then moved to Dallas and started her private practice at Medical City Dallas Hospital in 1998.
Dr. Salam's philosophy: "As an internist and a primary care physician, I believe that patients benefit greatly from having a doctor who knows them thoroughly and is there to guide them through the many stages of life. I enjoy taking care of both men and women from the ages of 18 and older. My patients come to see me for the treatment of their acute illnesses (sinus infections, flu, etc.), for the management of their chronic illnesses (Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Depression, etc.), and for their preventive health and wellness exams."

Katy Mosley is a board-certified Physician Assistant who has been with Internal Medicine Associates of Texas since March 2017. Katy graduated from the Texas Tech PA program with her Master's degree in 2005 and has been practicing in a variety of settings since. She has experience in specialties such as rheumatology, allergy, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, and home health. She has also enjoyed teaching Anatomy and Physiology at the college level.
Katy is passionate about preventative health as well as having a high-quality provider-patient relationship. Practicing under and collaborating with Dr. Salam has allowed her to grow in these areas.
